Who is ready for another year to begin?

I don't know about any of you but I am so sick of hearing "new year new you."
I mean NO you are still you that cannot be changed. Why should a date drive a new habit. I'm the type of person well I know what I should be doing, I just haven't started and the new year doesn't change that. Neither does the get your beach body ready. GIRL I will wear what I feel comfortable in on the beach or in a pool, I don't need to be ready for that. I am always ready. (I am a summer lover.)
But let talk about the new year. With all things I have learned if you aren't willing to start whatever it is that next day or that day, it won't stick. because you just aren't ready. When you are ready you are ready. Major things will happen when you decide you are ready. I have a body type or I guess a way I would like to look and be. But I am not ready and I am ok with that. I won't do any more restrictive diets. I want to eat what I want to eat. I know some people say WW isn't restrictive but I did it I lost over 50 lbs and I can say without a doubt it is restrictive. I have I guess a program in mind I want to do but I am just not ready and that is ok.
The problem with restriction or not allowing yourself you have some of the things you normally would eat or eat a lot of is when you crash or FALL OFF THE WAGON That's it, and you have to start all over. Why would anyone want to keep doing that. NOT I. I think it is very important to find peace with some things. I LOVE bread So I would never want to give that up, and who says I have to. Everything in portions is just fine.
What about those things you go crazy for like and addiction. Instead of giving them up completely limit yourself within reason, or find a replacement. so you don't dive head first into trouble. Over all thought don't let that one thing guide your path. If you start back with whatever it is allow it to happen but don't throw everything else away that you have worked so hard for. Give your self grace because this is life and if you are always ON and OFF that is exhausting. Here ends my 2 cents.
